crenco #8 in rock hill........
sitting here watching the moron show at the J across the street. fueled there first then pulled over here. 2 dummies in the fuel island eating their dinner and 2 backed up behind each of them. lot was almost full and they're way past already shoehorning themselves into the entrance and gumming it up for everyone trying to get in and out.
as I sit here looking at 20 empty spaces with only one other truck here besides me. just across the #### street. I guess if it isn't a chain truckstop it isn't a truckstop lol......I like this one even if it is a dirt lot. I get much better tv signal up on the hill here instead of down in the hole there and can walk across to the J for a shower.....and usually can get parked here even going on midnight most nights
got a nice 1190 from columbia to the home dc to grab one for arcadia. guess I'm going up to get the new truck since they couldn't figure out how to get it to me. gonna really screw my schedule though that puts me home late sunday so i'll be on tue-sun again for awhile till I very quickly recap a week and get weekends off again. off during the week isn't ideal for this outfit their business model is based on mon-fri. if you get off that it benefits you to get back on it as soon as possible.FatDaddy, Blu_Ogre and HeWhoMustNotBeNamed Thank this. -
It's the middle of the day and already they're double parked at the old J scale!Rocks and flyingmusician Thank this. -
yeah they're always parked 3 deep at that old scale even when there's 50 spots open in back and all the way around that outside curve all the way to the road. you should see what a circus it is for the ones trying to get on the scale or get back out from the fuel island
Dinomite Thanks this. -
Sorry for your loss PackRat.
656 miles today. Started in Winchester, Va and ran to Smyrna, Tn. Dropped at one place and hooked at Federal Mogul headed back to Carteret, NJ. (I think that they like me on this run for some reason) Made it back to the Hess at the 258 on 40 with 5 minutes on my 11.
I have never used Peoplenet but I will hate it if I need to -
the QUALCOMM is a sweet piece of technology by comparison. and I didn't like it either but I'd love to have it back nowLast edited: May 27, 2015

Made it to the J at the 182 on 40 in Tennessee. Got lucky they turned around just about all the traffic up to about me and 10 other trucks so while they all had to play bumper cars and detour around we got to squeeze past the wreck in the opening they made for us and then clear sailing.
My mifi connection is slow tonight so I'll wait to a get to a real wifi spot to upload the video from my dash cam as I passed the wreck.Rocks Thanks this. -
Well that's not 100 percent accurate but if I ever do leave I will never run with a company that has Peoplenet. Assuming I don't run on my own authority and I don't think I want to take that step just yetRocks, TruckDuo, flyingmusician and 1 other person Thank this. -
Sorry for your loss pack
