LOL, this last trip out I have been given the "Senior" discount, or had the "Senior" menu options pointed out to me twice, #### I must really be getting old.

 

Yeah me too. But my excuse is the kids are so still in school. While waiting for them I found a short hop Tuesday to Hammond LA that doesn't pay so bad out of Houston...that I can deliver anytime after I pick up. should be able to get a decent paying load to Ga or points north from there.

Got back to the office at noon, stayed till 4:00 leaving in the morning for windy.

 

Walcott Iowa TA for a few anyway. Had a load that didn't deliver in Denver and Colorado Springs till Monday. Figured I could get a reset in somewhere, but b4 I stopped. They told me to drop in Greeley and pick up a Houston load and my dbl 07 KW. Was on the phone telling my daughter I was going to probably miss her 17th b day at the time. But now I'll be there. God is good!! Going to see how many steps I can put on the pedometer b4 it rains. I'm gone!!

in arcadia been moving from one truck to another. unbelievable all the #### in here I forgot was in here. the kw is a nice truck but my galaxy won't go in the tiny little hole for the radio. what the hell kind of radio did they design that little hole for? one way or the other that galaxy is going in here.

it's going to take some time to get back to a place for everything and everything in it's place. surprising lack of storage in the kw compared to the Volvo but i'll figure it out. as it is I have bags of stuff stashed everywhere till I get it sorted out.

Hanging around waiting for some birds to stop breathing and reach relocation temp. Supposedly at midnight they say. This plant has had a decent record, so cautiously optimistic. If not, there's always time for a nap.

I was at the Mebane Petro last night, and noticed they had that DD in there that you all rave about. What good is a donut shop that isn't open at 0430? Bankers hours at a truck stop? Really? Probably the reason the main store had only crappy Hostess donuts and not a proper Krispy Kreme selection. NC is still considered part of the south isn't it? Oh well, whaddaya expect from an establishment that features that other soft drink (not Coca Cola).

Funny. My T600 has the overhead mount for a regular radio. I made it my mission to stuff a Ranger 2570 in there. That didn't work at all. Fortunately I quit before I destroyed something. So I hung it right below that space using the bracket. Easier to remove when leaving the truck at home anyway. So now I have this enlarged CB port, what to do? Perfect fit for a 2M/70cm ham radio. I don't think a Galaxy is as big as the Ranger, so you might fare a little better.
