Last post said he was at the house. I sure hope he's got better things to do than hang here.

 

Sitting here waiting for a door at my 1400 appointment in Spring Hill KS. No luck getting here early even though they would have take me had they had a door. 2 trucks ahead of me which means another night of trying to find parking after 2200. Will see how the Effingham truckstops look at that hour. Have spots to park if nothing there but I really need a shower tonight but at the same time don't want to pay for a reserved spot if I don't have too. Can't wait to get off this load so I can get back to starting at the crack of dawn which is what I prefer.

 

It's 94 in the EPT. Saw my first bikini wearing female tenant at my apartment pool last week. Summer time is here

 

Waiting to unload at Harman Becker here in El Paso. When Conway leaves I back into his dock.

 

Going on two hours. Just give me a ####ing dock and pallet jack, I'll unload the 7 pallets.

 

I've cleaned the cab, packed my things and finished my paperwork. As soon as I hit the yard I am gone, lol.

rolled in here after a 652 mile day with 1 minute left......and sweated that last minute and started punching buttons getting off the ramp. was 8 minutes to the good until 2 miles before the exit and traffic stopped lol watched an empty end dump in front of me almost plow the line of stopped cars. I was heavy and slowing way out but watching him barreling on towards them. at the last second I see a huge billowing cloud of tire smoke and that empty dump trailer bouncing so bad I thought it was going to turn over. somebody wasn't paying attention.

confirmed with the cube farm I'm going to have to sit for the live unload in the morning. i'll be glad when they settle their pissing match with pepsi over those loaded trailers. it's a regular backhaul for us and supposed to be a drop get in and get out but now we're paying the price having to sit for hours as they unload everything else in the dock before they get to us. all over some bs that probably was pepsi's fault to start with.....but you know the drill. you hook it and leave with it you own it. now nobody wants to own it and the trailers that should be empty sit loaded on their lot

deadhead home from there and jax for a Monday 1800 drop

Lily is spending the evening with dad while her mom and sister go to a graduation. Lily and situations where she has to sit for long periods do not mix.
