I hate Peoplenet, where are you parked and recipes thread

Sorry for your problems with that piece of crap aka Peoplenet... maybe it needs to be replaced...

 

Ahh... got fixed... Sorry, I am trying to catch up with 20 pages of old comments here...

 

Brand new unit in a brand new truck but didn't have the latest update. They got it fixed 4hrs later.

It's the new Gen2 peoplenet box. A little different than the old one but still the same piece of junk.

A little faster, the icons populate the screen about half the time it took the Gen1 unit to do and it has a stylus and reset port on the side now instead of having to do the 3 finger gymnastics the old unit required to reset it.

A little better, but still junk.

Note the 1 minute left on the drive line lol sweated that one to get to parking

 

That DOCK right there, is pretty SCARY for me... I hope and pray I never have to face one of those...

I only know of one truck stop in Texas with the name "pony" in it, the Pony Express in Marshall.

Parked at the I30 truck parking area in Cumby, TX (Exit 110 EB/Exit 112 WB). Plenty of parking still but it will be packed come morning.

Noticed that TXDOT posted some signs along the service road about a "future rest area" nearby. I wonder how far in the future.

Going to kill my idle time because....

there is a paper mill in Port Huron MI you have to blindside a lil to back in to the building. then when your straight you can't see the dock just keep inching in. when your against it the opening is so narrow you have to climb out the window
First time there i was lucky and watched 2 guys do it before me

 

I think Lily would not make a good truck driver...
