  3. I left Tuesday also. I don't have my logbook next to me. So can't say when I was rolling. Did you go out 15 to 40 or out 10?

So today I delivered to Stuart's Draft Va. Decided to test my luck because I'm lazy.

So anyway for some reason we got a couple newish Wabash trailers in the fleet that won't allow you to slide the tandems any farther forward than the 40ft mark. Why? I have no idea. But long story short they are few and far between...well my preload was loaded on one such trailer today and after sliding all the way forward my scale ticket read.

    image.jpg

Good news: I have a sliding 5th wheel

    Bad news: I'm lazy

Good news: only 1 scale to pass the one in Winchester Va

    Bad news: it's always open

Good news: I know how to run around it.

Bad news: I really don't want to drive the extra miles and through town while heavy.

Good news: I've been told Virgina lets you adjust your weight once before giving you a ticket. Besides no CSA points anyway and really are they gonna bug me over aprrox 100 lbs anyway by the time I burn a little fuel off?

So I say screw it...you only live once anyway....besides hopefully I get a scale report on the CB

Bad news: as I get down the road and holler on the CB I see it's not getting out. Closer look and appears my mic is busted.

More Bad news: The scale is open

Even More bad news: red light on the Prepass

Well #### news: arrow directs me to scale not bypass lane.

Hold my breath news: get on scale and the light is staying red an abnormally long time.....waiting for weight to settle I assume....and then finally.....GREEN LIGHT!!

    Hammer down!!

No... I started near Long Beach... took that AWFUL CA-91 east all the way to I-10 and stayed on it all the way to Texas... My delivery was in some town south of Houston.

Quite interesting and funny reading y'all stories and comments... :biggrin_25519:
Have been a little busier now... doing paper log... it takes a little longer, drawing lines, calculating mileages, figuring out locations, hrs available, etc etc... But I rather spend some more time doing that than having that freaking box telling me how much time I have left... that is as stressful as hell... I feel much more "relaxed" using paper log... :biggrin_25519:
Wasn't able to reset this weekend though... will have about 17 hrs left after my delivery tomorrow and will start recycling hrs only on Wed... but as long as my dispatchers know that, they will find me loads that will adjust to my hrs... They are great dispatchers... :yes2557:

DOT: Crap. Hey, can any of you give me extra Candy Crush lives?
