Few months ago...? I was in Brasil... Last time I was in Iowa... or near IA... hmmm... would have to dig my notes or my log book... but that was wwwaaaayyyy in the past....

 

The rain is taking a break and I'll go fetch my bag of ice and brush my teeth...

 

I was just roamin' around lookin' fer somethin' good ta' read on here when I stumbled across that Captain Zoom thread. Most of y'all been over there, wish y'all had told me about that dude. He's got a real good thread !

 

Found me a load to keep me busy on Tuesday with the 5 hours I'll have. Reloading out of Frito in Frankfurt and taking it to Davenport IA for open drop on Wednesday. Good pay and then I'll have real hours coming back and try to grab a reset over the weekend.

 

Made it to Greencastle ok as planned. Just a lot later thanks to the go-getters at Americold. At least I don't have to get up early. Pickup an hour away not till noon. Then back westward to Kentucky, where I oughta find something headed back home.

If my steer axle weighed that much loaded and fueled, I'd be checking my mirrors to see if the engine fell out. Just put 16 ply tires on for a little peace of mind and a tiny bit of pothole insurance.

 

I passed by you. You were sleep and I was going toward Omaha. I asked you in pm if you worked for such and such company and you told me that was you. Think it was January or so before I was retired by the admins and you left us for another country.

 

Ha...I wasn't fueled though. Had about a 1/4...maybe less in the tank....so I had to wait to get to Toms Brook to fill it up instead of fueling there in Hagerstown.
