The lowest I've ever seen was on 1/4 tank: 11,800. 5th wheel all the way back. I think my truck's former life was hauling a flatbed, so they may have set it up a little closer. It's close enough that I don't feel like spending the time or money to move it back on the frame. Well, that and open up the trailer gap more.

 

Rocks and FD seem to understand him just fine from what I can see ( only on about page 13 so far ). Speedloader would too !

 

I've run my steers heavier but this seems to be the sweet spot.

 

I was going to get back to Green Bay over 8 mpg
which would have been the best avg for a CA truck run
but 1600 miles in WY ruined that...............sigh

Still sitting on my butt at the hotel.

I didn't buy much food, but I am gonna have to toss whatever I can't eat. I REALLY need a fridge

 

After delivery this morning here in OH, came to this small truck stop a few miles from rcvr...


have only17 hrs from 70 and roll up starts on Wed at 00:00... Let's see what dsp will find for me...
Think will have some meal here, update some notes, read some old OOIDA magazines that keep piling up... or maybe call my dear dad in Brasil...

 

In keeping with the pictures, here is the view behind my truck. Where I wait for my 1200 appt that mysteriously became 1600.

Can't complain too bad tho. The yard driver was cool and pointed out a corner on the lot away from the traffic for me to park in. I made a nice lunch, scanned some paperwork, replaced the velcro on my prepass since it's fallen off the windshield twice now. About time for a nap after all the excitement.
