Dang it man I hate to hear that. I do understand running when you shouldn't but you have to. We will hope it all works out and you find a good driver if you need one.

Its on like donkey kong in Pine Bluff this morning. Line to scale plum out in the street. I was on the street waiting pointed east when line pulls up as I put my rig in gear to move a jack wagon flies in from the west. I was as nice as I could be is all I will say. Which was a little dumb 1 half hearted rib shot would take me out lol.

 

Yeah I know you do you should relaxing a bit longer yourself. We where taught that we are only as good as our word so when i agree to run the load the only thing going to stop me is a safety issue or I am in the hospital.

Although I "miss" all the precious winter driving experience/learning, I am glad I am not there now... so, it's mixed bag...
This freaking winter of you all almost seems like it's never ending... It may be over when I get back to the USA.... who knows... And I hope next year's is not this bad...

Went with dad to his physical therapy this morning... The place was in another town almost one hr away...
What a "joke" that therapy... Well... at least he enjoys the trip, and that is enough for now...

I'm getting ready to continue with my trip... another trip inside this trip... Will leave at 00:30 local time... Going back to Fortaleza, about 4:30 hrs from here by bus... Then, may try to find a room in the little hotel nearby bus terminal tomorrow morning so I can take a few hrs nap and then will proceed back to the airport and board in a plane to Rio de Janeiro...
My body is not feeling well and not "in the mood" to travel... but I will just "ignore" it and keep on... as usual... I hope I didn't get Dengue... I heard there were some cases in the town nearby...

 

Lunch break at Truckers World in Hubbard OH. Been battling a light frozen drizzle ever since I hit Snowshoe PA. Will see how things look after my belly is full.

 

maybe i am a lil bit more like tsavory then i thought
i would have to be about dead to stop in the middle of the job
i was 200 miles off shore and a big ole swordfish hook caught my arm
ripped it open about 10 inches a towel and a roll of electrical tape
and we kept working I had a 8 mile line out who was gonna do it
10 days later when we got to the dock the emergency room dr had to cut old dead skin away for about an hour
then open up the cut again and put in three layers of stitches



I have said for a long time if someone hadn't watched any tv for 20 years they would be shocked today
Imagine at one point the Smothers Brothers were too controversial
