You didn't notice?? :biggrin_2554: So.... you only watched American cable TV in Brasil? Sex and nudity on regular public TV specially on weekends and at night such as "Programa do Gugu" :biggrin_2554:, "Domingao do Faustao", "A Praça e Nossa", "Caldeirao do Huk", "Programa do Malandro" :biggrin_2554:, etc... I remember some public channels showing at night porn movies and programs with enticing girls posing in skimpy lingerie and top less and commercials about available girls for "dating" and escort services... You know... prostitution is legal in Brasil and recognized by the Brazilian Dept. of Labor...

The best and only way to move around in the city of Sao Paulo is by air... by helicopter... :biggrin_2559: No kidding... Have you seen all the heliports on top of the buildings in the business zone of Sao Paulo?

    Not for everybody though...

I can neither confirm nor deny what was seen on TV, but I know the answer. ;)

Hope you get to feeling a little better. I really enjoy the virtual ride along via your pictures!

...I remember over 10 yrs ago... I was climbing on a high stool with a vaccum cleaner in hand to clean some top shelves at someone's house... I had a cleaning business... the stool tilted and I hit my leg bone on the edge... It ripped off the skin and made a big hole... I almost could see the bone... Well... there's practically nothing between the skin surface and the bone... I rushed and put a bunch of paper towel on it and used the piece of fabric I had on my head to wrap around it very tight... and continued with the cleaning for a few more hrs... Tried to remove it on the following day... and OMG!!! :biggrin_25521: It was all stuck on the wound... like Cranky said, it opened the wound again... After weeks the wound kinda healed but I lost the sensitivity on the area and still have the scar... Glad it didn't break the bone though... :biggrin_25519:

debating whether to sit it out here and just make an early start. Delivering off x96 on 70 and don't have to be there till 0830 tomorrow. Then have just a local delivery I'm doing in town so hours aren't an issue. Too busy eating to check on the radar at the moment. Lol

Yes that was fascinating. Also seeing all the helicopters buzzing around at all hours. Unfortuantely (or maybe fortunately?) I was neither wealthy or important enough to enjoy that mode of transport. The guy I worked for had been a regional director for Nokia for a few years and had routinely hired the same car driven by two brothers every time he was there. I got a car ride to and from the airport, about 90 minutes to go 25 km each way. Then the hotel and office were each within a "compound." The office compound was in a particularly bad area, so fenced in and manned with guards armed with automatic rifles. The drivers knew the safest and fastest routes between the hotel and office. The hotel was adjacent to an underground mall. No fence, but you really had no need to walk out beyond that area for anything. It wasn't all that rowdy there, except for a Futbal club across the street that got noisy on game nights. It was quite an experience. One day I'd like to return and see Rio, as well as travel further south to see Argentina.

Only time i can think of I stopped in the middle of work. Standing on an incline catching sand bags and was turned bad when one came at me snapped my knee out and we could not get it back in. 5 shots of mophine (spelling) later and Doc went to put it back in no go so 2 more shots and 3 of Valium (spelling) still jumped but was able to get reset.
That to this day causes me problems some days can't hardly stand.

I always LOVED SAO PAULO!!! But haven't been there in soooo many years... Traffic has become ABSOLUTELY COMPLETELY UNBEARABLE!!! Except if you take a motorcycle taxi... But I don't have the courage for that... :biggrin_25512: I did once and that was ENOUGH... :biggrin_2551:

When I go to Sao Paulo, I pick a hotel near downtown and a subway station... But I heard nowadays that is SOOOO freaking crowded...
