I was suppose to get loaded in Newport News at 8am. I was parked at the shipper and sleeping when they banged on my door at midnight and said to put it in door 2! I was loaded, paperwork done and a pot of coffee brewed at 5am... So I rolled out!
Drove up to Chillicothe Oh at the Pilot... Just under 1/2 way to my Monday stop in Cedar Rapids, Iowa
Pretty tired... So I think some Moes Southwestern Grill... Maybe a lil TV... And a good night sleep are in my future... I'll be lucky to make 7pm tonight -

Well gee.. thanks for the compliments :
It's really not that good looking. Although it is pretty complete, so that tends to draw attention elsewhere LOL. Between the distance and the dazzling new lights, you can't see all the defects LOL. It is mostly one color, kind of a silver/dirt shade.
Funny HeWho mentions the doors. No this one doesn't do what you describe. But that was one of the projects. First, I changed out all the lock cylinders so one key now opens everything. Before I started, the key fit only the ignition and driver door. In the driver door, it would lock ok, but to unlock it you had to use two hands and jiggle the key just so, or it wouldn't open. Then when it did unlock, you had to push the door in a little to get the latch to release.
I was also going to replace the driver door outside handle, that always wears out on these. Turns out FL parts no longer carries a replacement handle (for $60). You now have to buy a "kit" that must be special ordered (for $200). I passed on that and repaired the old one. If I'm lucky, I'll get another year or two out of it, then probably just replace the whole door. That's one of those deals where the handle is the first part to wear out, but everything else in the door is on the verge of being crap too.HeWhoMustNotBeNamed, Rocks, Dinomite and 1 other person Thank this. -
