30 minutes or less. Isn't that for delivering pizzas?

Yes, I'd like a large with everything, and change a tire

:biggrin_2559: Most customers (shippers and receivers) that are familiar with CH agree on that... :biggrin_25523:

A combination of things today will cause me to stay out an extra day on this load. I need to go 200 miles after loading to be able to get back to the yard. It took 3.5 hours to get to the plant. Should be a piece of cake.

Get to the plant and another truck is broken down under the inspection rack. That costs 1.5 hours. Finally get back to load and the product hasn't been approved yet. That backed up trucks so I wait for another truck to load.. That takes 4 hours but I brought lunch.

I finally hit the gate with 4:20 to work with. Nope takes 1.5 hours to cross the river then another back up for a wreck on 10. Made it to the Loves in Biloxi. Oh Well At least I don't have to set an alarm in the morning.

    Petro carnesville.

Atlanta wasn't bad coming in only lost 18 minutes around 1700ish so we'll call that a win. Glad I wasn't coming out that time it was backed up from 985 all the way down and around and still backed up where I got off at south Atlanta road to head to the rail.

Luckily got to bobtail out of there to the heartless yard to grab the load home. No paperwork on the trailer. The cube farm asks if I can just write a BOL on a piece of notebook paper and go?

    Uh, no lol

Finally got ahold of the paperwork and by that time just a small backup getting from the loop around the flyover onto 85.

Could have run another hour but that would put my parking options at slim to none so just call it a day here. Always parking in this huge lot......and I didn't feel like cooking so I'll gorge myself on a hash brown, bacon, egg and sausage skillet with liberally applied cheese.

Mediocre week at 2792 by the time I get in around 11 in the morning. For the first time in about 6 weeks actually got planned before Monday. Headed to Tampa for a 2200 Monday drop. They moved the drop yard but didn't listen to a word we said when they asked for recommendations. Go figure. Could barely make it in 11 to the old one and this one shows 5 miles farther.

Even the light ones are cheap. Yep they actually do have some light ones. Last CHR backhaul I had the misfortune of dealing with cost me 7hrs downtime, weighed 13k and paid 1.24 on 563 miles.

I had a 20 something kid come out once when I was with Epes and I blew a tire within sight of the sb scale below Winchester. He did it old school, didn't even put a jack under it, stripped the old one off and mounted the new one and had me rolling 21 minutes after he got there.

I'd have tipped him if I'd had any cash on me. The kid was good.
