And the company driver brought me the loaded trailer this evening... with one bad tire...I hate when they do that...
Tire is so totally bald in several spots... an absolute DOT violation...
Don't know how long he has been running with a tire like that...and another one about to get bad too...
Wish I had seen it when we were walking around and talking... He came from somewhere in GA.... was lucky not to be caught by DOT or that would have given him, and the company a violation at least...
And now, I will have to get it fixed tomorrow morning after I get my 70 and before I start my trip...![]()
This driver is new in the company... if he is still around here tomorrow, I will give him a piece of advice...
Tire repair man is just around the corner and he opens at 8 am... but my reset ends at 10 am... and now I am back on this darn Peoplenet... It pssss me off...![]()
I hate Peoplenet, where are you parked and recipes thread

Finally made it home
Blown trailer tire, Tractor Trailer on fire on I-44 Missouri, and Illinois state police pulled me over to do a roadside inspection. Despite all these obstacles, we made it home early morning. As Ric Flair would say.......

Rocks, flyingmusician, Dinomite and 2 others Thank this. -
That's how we roll!!! -
Crap like that makes me less likely to find ways to save the company money. -
The wife thought me climbing a tree to cut out storm damage was such an event she had to take a pic lol
She forgets sometimes since I don't act like it that I was raised as country as she was hillbilly.
Had to remind her I was climbing trees many years before she was even born.
Hell I wasn't even up that high......although at my age probably as high as I needed to go lol think that was it for the storm damage though. Finally gotten it all cut down, cut out and dragged to the road. City has picked up most of it
Now that it's gotten cleaned up a bit you can really see the damage to the houses a street over. At least 5 of them will have to have new roofs and at least one is going to have to have the entire rear quarter of the house rebuilt. It was pretty well destroyed.Rocks, Dinomite, TruckDuo and 1 other person Thank this. -
Just long shorts. -
Cheyenne WY at the Love's. Hopefully this potato load hasn't shifted too much going up these hills. Was 12080, 34100, 33780 when I left Idaho. Guess I'll find out tomorrow. Not wasting another 10.50 on a scale.
TruckDuo Thanks this. -
