Well. I take everything back I said about the company looking out. They saw the estimate for the transmission. And promptly reneged on what they told me. Still gonna fix it. Should be up and running next week.

@Cranky Yankee you enjoy yourself while Miss Patty is gone 'Risky Business' style.[IMG]

@FatDaddy sorry to hear that your company wont help you out but the fact you can soldier on goes to show the smart businessman you are. :biggrin_25514:

@Dinomite I live next to Elgin. Hit me up if you have time. [IMG]

So if I deciphered what @Al. Roper said then does that mean he might be going back to flatbedding ?

Here is some news I know you all will love. Ready for it ? Brace yourself. US Xpress announced that they no longer will be doing road tests at orientation on the students. Once they get hired, their gonna go with a trainer. That's when they'll find out if these people can drive. Yikes ! This will end the extra cash we were earning on our hometime doing road tests.

the road tests after training really were not weeding anyone out
    anyway
I think Tall Mike and myself should just go from school to school and weed them out before they have their first 5 wrecks
It should be worth a couple decent salaries from the insurance companies
the first elimination will be the CRE driver at the Freightliner dealership dragging his locked up tandems 100 yards before getting out to see what might be wrong
maybe he thought they were frozen except it was 85
