I ran a rack part-time, pulling bucking bulls and such for a friend. One thing I have discovered bout me is I gotta have a wee bit of sleep from time to time. Them all-nighters ain't fer me. Ima leave that to the pros like Mike, Wore and olhand. Almost fergot GT too!

 

Dino don't feel bad you need to have no life like Bino and I to keep up. A couple of days ago Al said things weren't working so well and he might have to break out the chains

Well I picked up this morning at Pacific Paper in Memphis going to Family Dollar in Odessa, TX. Was hoping for something else going elsewhere but that's apparently all they had. It had a 7am delivery. By my calculations it could not be legally delivered until 9am and that was if everything went smoothly. We hauled these loads all the time for them to Odessa but the delivery time was usually 5pm or 7pm the next day. I'm not about to fudge my logs for a crap run so I told them they needed to reschedule later.

And they did

7am Wednesday morning.

Decided to park it at the Love's in Rockwall as I'm no longer in a hurry

I could have logged it to Sweetwater and pulled a quick reset but I'm hoping to get a quick California run to finish out the week, and doing a full reset would encourage them to send me back east.

Work smarter, not harder.

solid day 655 today and at the new drop yard in tampa. 5 miles farther than the old one but got here with 12 minutes on the clock. almost a best ever time down here in one roll but I did wait and leave a little later to miss the charlotte and tampa traffic.
