I fueled at the Pilot in Grand Island earlier this morning. Holed up at the Pilot in Laramie waiting for my recap at midnight so I can head into Salt Lake for my 0900hrs delivery.

 

Hopefully you didn't do this in the bathroom

 

at the pilot in Birmingham after wasting most of my day as expected. got a decent spot across from the scales up close. guess nobody wanted to try and back close to those huge concrete pillars around teh scale lol dropped it right in there. on a load towards home and things are a little slack this week so I'm sure when I get in tomorrow afternoon that'll be it for the week.

what must have been a very green noob in a prime hat was having an absolute meltdown with the manager here when I went in for a shower. one of the bums hanging around the door asked if he could use his cell and like a dummy he handed it over......and the guy ran. duh. never saw that coming at this place. so, mr dumb ### is in there pitching a holy hell fit to the manager of the pilot wanting to know what was he going to do about it? expensive lesson learned that'll be.

then I get a shower and been wanting to try some of the new baconator cheese fries from wendy's so I walk in there and order and the girl says very quietly that they don't have any cheese would I like something else? I had to ask her again what she said just to be sure I heard her right and she very quietly again says they don't have any cheese......then I almost had a meltdown lol the first words out of my mouth was 'this is Wendy's and you don't have any cheese? are you ####ing kidding me? no cheese? then I caught myself and just said forget it I've got food in the truck......and I have plenty of cheese lol and I walked out.
