Finishing my meal in a hurry and going to bed cause I want to start driving at 2 am central time... and not have much time to sleep...
After loaded last evening I took a nap here...



Drove at night and now I am here... in UT...

back at the house, dummies fed and treats given and all is right with the world lol their world anyway.

stopped by petsmart on the way home to get a bag of food and got sticker shock. they jacked up the price on all of the dog food 25%. the 17lb bag is now what i paid for the 35lb bag and the 35lb bag went to 33lbs and the price went up $10. I checked the other brands and the prices were all up about the same amount. I said something to the clerk about it on the way out and he said 'yeah everybody is mad about it a bunch have said they won't be back. we aren't hitting our numbers and the manager said that's one thing everyone that comes in here has to have so that's where we'll get 'em and get our numbers back up'. not a good strategy if you lose all your customers. tore up my petsmart card right in front of him told him to throw it in the trash nobody from my household would be back if the cure for mismanagement was to gouge the customers on something they had to have. there's a backstory about the management there....the wife used to volunteer with a group keeping the cats there and they changed managers and the new one is clueless and incompetent and it's been showing in the store lately. things got so bad under the new manager that group declined to keep the cats anymore. I'm sure the coupon queen can find a better deal. I know she can. it was just close and on the way home.

gonna be a slow start to next week. all I got was an out and back relay to Knoxville for monday. 488 round trip. hopefully i'll get a decent plan on the way back Monday.

 

Priming 4,400 yellow top cranking amps prior to buttoning everything up. No smoke with the charger or cranking, so that's promising. Spins the cat over like the head is off.



PS: If you were thinking of buying these for your truck, pick something else. These were warranty exchanged at 20 months. They did not go the expected 5 years or so.
