Hey , Thanks for the invite. I'd love to hang out here. Heading to Green Bay on the 1st. for orientation with WEL Co.s. It's been a long time coming and I'm really excited to be getting back OTR. I was in GB 30 years ago when I was with Schneider tanker orientation. WOW that was a long time ago. I pulled tanks with a 84 international cabover..air assist steering and no air seat..etc. etc. etc.. My wow things have changed. I'll be driving in luxury.. well…sort of..

 

If this thread keeps going, with @Rocks help we'll all be ready to be in Rio for the Olympics next year and not sound like tourists LOL.

Actually having to speak a new language is the best way to learn. When I did occasional international travel, I would crash study with Rosetta Stone courses to get the basics and manage to get by. Even with that, I learned more by being in those places, even if just a few days, than I did listening to language lessons for a couple weeks. There's now a similar one available for free. If you have a smarter than you phone, you should install Duolingo (no relation to the pomeranian LOL). It's a language learning program that works sort of like Rosetta Stone (learn by use, not by memorizing). Get that and you'll be speaking Brazilian Portuguese like o chefe in no time.
