    It's probably in your trucks ECU software, just requires activation. I think all engine makers have similar software in their programming.

    I will do my best to manage but, man that was a real eye opener !!!
    Actually ol Pete and I were just talkin about Wore out. Kinda odd that he just up and disappears, HOPE everything is OK with him. I never did get his phone # so not sure how to find out.

    And BTW, my co. VP told me that he believes by the end of this year, all trucks in the US will be governed at the same speed...:biggrin_2552: Imagine that... :biggrin_25521:

    i would bet him my years pay against that
    it might be coming but not in 5 months
    they will have to start with new truck sales
    even if they make a law to govern them to 65
    some companies are not going to go up in speed

    Gonna be great all trux governed the same....every maga dip#### w/lite load jumpin in left lane at bottom of every hill....And I do feel for yall havin to deal w/that......i for one Thankfully will not.....told the kiddies I'm here till mandatory electronic logs or speed limiters....whichever comes first.....and then I'll jus have to make do shaggin wagons round the homestead fer 20 sumthin an hour.....or maybe I'll buy a bar.....lmao
    hidey hole jus outside the Dome enjoyin sum soletude&adjustn my attitude....;)

    A female truck driver, friend of mine... has been driving for almost 20 yrs... Drove tanker, dry van, reefer... Now she is "happy" doing temporary work at whatever company and making over $20.00 an hr and going home every night... That's GREAT for HER... she "enjoyed" trucking when there was none of this new technology and more "fun" on the road... Now it's only about the money...
