I was making more money with my own cleaning business before I started trucking... but my satisfaction was nothing compared to what I do now...
I am at this dock... Have been here since 12:30 pm today... but load wasn't ready... May leave sometime very early in the morning...

It's been a long time but 287 from Amarillo to DFW used to be a good ride. I've never taken it but is the 93 / 60 from up by Kingman AZ to Phoenix a better way to drop down instead of waiting till Amarillo ?

287 is a clean easy run.

I was thinking get down to 10 because I am used to running close to gross. This light weight load will run out 40 to 287 cut down to I20 to Jackson, MS then down to Mobile and head to FL.

93 is a good road and I have used it to avaoid the california scale to get to Victorville when running in from Dallas or Waco with a heavy load.

287 is more diagonal so less miles. And higher speed the 93 also.

I'm not sure exactly where 10's closed at in CA. Wouldn't going through Palm Springs and dropping down through Brawley and picking up the 8 at El Centro be shorter / less fuel ?

that was my original plan but it is longer. Load is very light so hills are less of an issue.
