Stopped at the Love's in Eloy, AZ for my break, fuel, lunch and shower. No wait on a shower. Today is a good day to die.
Some poor driver turned his rig on its side just past the AZ72 and Vicksburg Road interchange. Looks like he dropped his steer off the edge of the road, over corrected and lost control.
I hate Peoplenet, where are you parked and recipes thread

Had one get hung on the poles this morning. The wrecker had to pick the trailer up to get him off them. Just this week they've been 2 get stuck in the gravel, one back into a ditch, and one tore the gate up this morning also.

Got up at 4am and rolling about 4:45... No traffic at all around Madison. Got to the Twin Cities after rush hr so perfect timing. I made my drop in Chashatten MN and came back to the yard in Coon Rapids. Have a load tomorrow in Gaylord MN headed to Selma NC... May try a different route... kinda sick of 94-39-74-70-us35 portion... Don't want to run I65 cause of that construction... Oh well... At least I can miss Chicago... Would be nice to miss Indy though... But not a lot of extra time on the load... So may just do the norm....

Loves, Mifflinville, Pa
big day today. burned 13:47 on the clock and 309 miles to show for it after dealing with one fail after another from the cube farm.
after assuring me yesterday I'd be planned out of leesport this morning......just get that load there by 5am.....called in empty at 0515 and she says......I don't have anything on you. call back at 9am. I bout went through the roof. sat there fuming for the next 4hrs and luckily got the same girl that I talked to yesterday. told her straight up I would never bring a load in there early again I didn't care how bad they needed it, it was going to wait till 9am. don't even ask. wasn't her fault she did her part i heard her talking to the planner trying to get me set for this morning. planning only works from 0800 to 2100 cst and the rest of the cube farm operates around the LTL delivery schedules. if you aren't already planned the day before and drop between 2100 and 0900 you're SOL, so we on truckload side generally don't. I took them at their word and they screwed me so that won't happen again. it only takes once for me.
then I get a 188 mile #### run after I sat there for 4hrs with the clock running waiting for someone to show up who can make a decision and plan something. took 6hrs to do.....due to where it is and construction on Pa61 and 81. there really isn't any other good way to go. if I'd gotten off route and tried to go another way it would have taken as long or longer on those backward ### Pa 2 lanes. coming back through the construction on 81 it took 1:45 to go 4 miles.
headed over to Montoursville for the load home. at least I got close enough to the pickup I can make it in one run tomorrow.
been a week of anniversaries. 1 year with the company yesterday and quite a long time with that pigtailed hillbilly chick today. doesn't seem that long for one but seems like forever sometimes for the other one lolLast edited: Jul 23, 2015
