Pulled the knobs on the Swederbuilt at the Lee-Hi TA again for the 2nd night in a row.
Went in and filled up on the buffet.

Tomorrow is another day , bring it on!!!!

 

Kind of a limping start, but yes. Nothing worthy materialized today, so I decided to sit it out right here in the music city for a second night. After last night's relative peace, tonight is complete with mega fleet drivers treating the curve in the back row like turn 4 at Talledaga. Guy to my left is idled up with his fan cutting in and out every 30 seconds. I guess the Tripak hanging off his frame is ballast. This would have been a good night to have a frozen load running in the box to drown out all that noise. If I wasn't so cheap, I'd start it up anyway.

That's f'n funny I don't care who you are. Gonna write that one down and use it on my local European bud next time he calls to hear me crap talk about the one he drives LOL. Scratch that. I'll probably call him first so I won't forget that one.

 

Love that place. My buddy Tony and I were running together a while back and he had never stopped there before. It was late and he asked if we would find parking. I said no problem. It was 2230 and we found a pull through spot, I went in and he nosed in behind me. I said this place is golden, where else are you going to find a pull through spot at this hour on 81?

Went in and had dinner. Buffet was closed so we ordered off the menu.

 

Well , my e logs are getting turned on sunday and I have so many bad feelings about this . I just plain know it's not gonna work!
Not to mention they won't listen to my input on ways to even try and make it work.

My idea was load around 10 p.m. so traffic is light and run through the night all week.

The response was ; well some people don't like to drive at night . Hahaha

I did a night shift run a while back. Did it to avoid Chicago traffic through downtown. Still hit a backup at 2am.

 

I pulled in last night at 11pm and there was a truck leaving, call i did was circled around and pulled through.

Still had a couple of hours left tonight but didn't want to fight for a spot somewhere further south

The food is a bonus here

 

We run around the DC area and it's a bit better if we roll down through between 12 and 4 , and I have been in Chicago before . Out there , they don't have a "light traffic " time
