must have been back around 1978 we were fishing for tuna in Provincetown Mass. Everyone was flush with money maybe 100 boats from all over New England catching a lot of high priced fish
young men no responsibility drinking hard working hard. Along came a 3 day storm all the boats tied to the dock waiting until it passed. This other captain comes pounding on the cabin door with a bottle in his hand says get out here Pete we are drinking bloody mary's today. It was only 7 or 8 in the morning but seemed like a good idea. This was the big gallon jug warm. I said where is the bloody part he pulls out 4 of them lil 4 oz cans and we started . We each downed a can of V8 then polished off the warm vodka right out of the bottle. Couple hours later we drank the other 2 cans of V8. I don't remember anything else about that day . All I can say is don't go drinking with Captain Sam of Brooklyn Me

 

gotta agree about that B model Mack bein' the best lookin' truck ever built. I second that vote.

 

When I did more drinking, I often wondered why they bothered with smaller size bottles. Seemed like a waste. A guy I worked with once upon a time said it wasn't a party unless he woke up wondering where he barfed out his dental plate.

I was parked behind it, getting some stuff from the KW dealer. As I was walking to my truck, I noticed the Dayton rims. Kinda sticks out in a hub piloted world. Went around and, holy schnyckees, a B model!?!

My dad has a 47 LF and a LJ (not sure on the year on that one) in various stages of disrepair. Anyways here's some more 'eye candy'
