Went to Praia do Forte beach again and walked for over one hr... This time went a little further south...

The water wasn't as warm as yesterday but I stayed in it for a little while...

Not sure what kind of boat that was but made me think about Mr. Cranky again...

Folks eating, drinking, playing ball, surfing...

Beach vendors selling all kinds of things...

Hats, clothes, glasses, kikes, floats, etc, etc...

I used to walk on beaches selling hand made jewelery in the 80's.... also sold fruit salads... carrying coolers on my shoulders... No wonder my back is soooo screwed up...

This afternoon I took a bus and went north of here...

To check on dad's property.... it needs a lot of repairs... Again... :biggrin_2552:

House is tooooo close to the sea and the very strong salt in the air corrodes everything... I'm tired of spending money on maintenance...

Anyway... Gotta get up early tomorrow... It will be a busy week...

Salt corrosion = the reason I want to live one small hill away from the beach,

Temperate weather with less fog and do not have to replace garage appliances every couple of years

Appliance manufacturers still do not do a good job on rust inhibitors.

    Rocks Thanks this.

Woke up this morning and drove over to my truck for my 0800 delivery and was back having breakfast with my girls by 1000. Tomorrow will go pickup in Sugarland for a Costco load to Laredo.

    Rocks Thanks this.

I agree... wish dad had thought about that when he bought that land and built that house... He built it very big = very expensive maintenance... for me to pay...

I tell you all that the only "exotic" thing about this trip is the exotic fresh juices I have at the juice store nearby my hotel... :biggrin_25523:

Went to 2 doctors today for my check ups. Better get those done now while I have more spare time than when I get back at work. Besides, since I am paying from my pocket, I can choose what exams I want, like the one that my insurance in the USA will not cover... And the price is EXTREMELY cheaper than in America... ie., a CT of cervical column + CT of lumbar column + densitometry costs $270.00 dollars... :yes2557: And nobody keeps the records but the patient... :yes2557:

Going to the dentist tomorrow... hopefully they will be able to do somethings that American dentists wouldn't and for half the price... Shall see...:biggrin_25519:
