    Thanks for that heads up. I didn't see the cart. I Should have known you had something under your sleeve. But what kind of contraption do you have for getting it in and out the truck. Just empty it, then put everything back in?

    I used to keep the 5th wheel in the trucks I drove in my former company right in the middle of the drive axle... had to adjust that only a couple times to make all the axles legal...
    But in my actual company, the 5th wheel is almost all the way to the back... which makes the truck a little longer, it gives more space between the trailer and the tractor. I tried to move it once but it was stuck and maintenance boss told me not to move it at all or it would make the steer axle non compliant.. which I don't agree.. but it's their truck and their rules.... I will just not haul any load if I can't make the axles legal due to 5th wheel being stuck...

    If the cooler is way too heavy, I may put a few heavier things in a bag..... but if not, I just park my vehicle very close to the truck's door and have a way to move the cooler to the edge and then to the step outside the door and then to the vehicle... not that hard.... :biggrin_25512:

    I keep my 5th wheel on the 3rd or 4th slot from the front.

    Greensboro, NC service center for a 6am unload 5 miles from here, then off to a dropyard 20 minutes from here to drop and hook to a load delivering in Tennessee tomorrow.
