Fixin Ta ease in a somewhat northerly directions....as I leave a supertrucker scratchin his head...hear at the Edinburg TA.....scaled....pulled around into fuel island...walk insideMiss Cynthia smiles say "Hi I thought that sounded like you on the scale" we exchanged pleasantries as she printed out scale ticket....turns around and says...."I think you got too much again" Imagine that I reply she gives me ticket....yup only a ton or so.....i hand her my fuel card and ask her to set up pump 2...and that's when supertrucker says...."You're really nit goin to fuel are you?" Beats pushin son....but your already overgross...you HAVE to go back and take some of that off....really? Yeah...no way you can haul that load.....Ok thanx man I better call my boss....
Few minutes later I come back in for my receipt.....cool hand luke is still tryin to chat up the other(about 16 y/o)cashier when he hears Miss Cynthia say "Wow you must have been almost out of fuel". Yeah I cut her pretty close....I know I don't think I've ever seen you buy 255 gallons....I jus chuckled....you stayin for supper...not this time suger I gotta be in the Bronx late Saturday night......I turned he looked right at me....opened his mouth&Nothin came out.....Imagine that......

 

Saw my new rig today. Nice KW pretty blue

 

At the rest area west of Ann Arbor for the evening. Tomorrow I flip my schedule around and get up before 11. Deliver to the post office in Detroit at 8 then pick up a load in Dearborn going home for the weekend. Couple of short days this week but will still be right at 2900 miles by the time I get home tomorrow.

 

Getting closer to being back at it. I was only away for 6 years but I know how excited I was to get assigned my first truck when I came back even if it was an old tired Volvo
