Haha. I don't need lessons but that does remind me of a dumb ### moment I had a few months back. Went to slide the tandems and couldn't find the ####ing handle. Stared at it a few moments and was even ready to make a phone call when I realized it was an air slide. Hadn't seen one in the fleet in the 3+ years I have been here so it didn't cross my mind.

 

The only good thing about those trips is after you add in the mileage+drop and hook pay they pay .975......but you gotta turn a few of them then get something good out of there to make it worth doing.

 

I had my ####### moment when I went to work for Muñoz. Never been around a Volvo so I had to ask how to open the hood.

 

i couldn't open the cascadia hood at first
some driver been with us a year called the boss one night said he couldn't get the hood open.......guess he didn't check the oil often
35000 on oil changes never add any gets you lazy

 

Was a tad bit worried I didn't have a pre plan. Just before I can call and ask what's up. Double beep and it looks like in going back to Cali Cali! Via Chandler Az. I like this new dispatcher she even added layover without me asking. Since it doesn't pick up till tmrw. Should give me some time to catch up on some hours since I been running like a Rabid Cranky Yankee!! I'm back quiet!!
