So after waiting overnight, they finally get started. Turns out there was no compressor shaft seal leak. Upon hooking up the service gauges and seeing normal pressures, they did a download to see what was going on. Apparently high ambient temps triggered a false alert. So the bad news was a wasted day and some lost loads. Good news was the bill came to zero. The manager felt bad about me laying over when they should have concluded the same yesterday afternoon. Fair enough. It would have been my luck had I decided to run the load I'd have had a real problem and a potential cargo claim. I'm not that guy that resets alarms and hopes for a miracle.
Relocated down the road to the Mt Vernon Love's. Running a little low on groceries and limiting my deadhead at this point, having driven 70 miles for almost nothing yesterday. Seriously, this part of Texas is a truck stop wasteland and I hate getting stuck here. Everywhere is a dump. Pray for my front end. If you're passing thru, I have a dash cam running so I'm watching you.
