At the little Mobil station in Sheboygan WI. Unload in the morning then we'll be off on whatever new adventure they come up with. One thing is for certain though, it will involve Chicago at rush hour much like every other day doing this out and back stuff.

Tell ya what. I'll gladly swap places with you right now, and not just because I live in that area.

I took the pup for a walk so she'd behave in the truck alone while I went to eat. I passed thru the Love's (and Chesters and Subway) and went across the street to El Tremendo for some Mex. Let's just say it will never be in my top 10, but ok. Put it another way, measured against what's available in the Love's makes it look better than it is. Hopefully I won't suffer any consequences. Last (and only other) time I was here, I tried the Chesters. At that time, I don't recall El T being there. Anyway, I think chewing on my shoe would have been more savory than Chesters.

Did I mention I hate being here? This will turn out to be like Krystal for me. I'll have some strange compulsion to stop in every 1-2 yrs, then, one bite in, remember why I never come here.

PS: If you are planning to go I-85 SB over to I-20 WB during morning rush, take the long way around I-285 (east side). It'll be congested just past I-20 then speed limit the rest of the way. Once over on the SW side, you can also exit Camp Creek Pkwy turn left and cut the corner of the 285/20 interchange. Only do that if traffic NB on the west side is bad.

If you're really feeling your Wheaties, take S. Fulton Pkwy over to Cambellton Rd (GA-92) and cut an even bigger corner. Comes out at MM-37 on I-20. If that causes problems, I never told you this LOL.

At least I know which one to be in there and when unlike Charlotte today flying blind in rush hour trying to put one eye on the google map and figure an alternate route and keep the other eye on traffic and try to shift all at the same time lol

Just another day at the office right?

I edited that last post to maybe add some sanity to your rush hour ride thru the ATL.

You can have the ATL traffic in the am. Me I'm going around there by way of Madison and down to Tallassee, FL, then off to Sarasota & Ft Myers.

Parked at the WB Rest Area on I40 (mm73) near London, AR. Don't need to push it with this load so I'm good.

Fwiw, my average speed between Jackson, TN (actually got a shower right away!) and here was 63.78 mph. And that includes dropping to 57 mph through the Memphis "no fly zone" and less through the construction zone. So don't tell me it's worth the risk of a ticket to save time. That's with running 66 mph on each end.

@RedForeman I once got Chesters. Never again. I even tried their fried corn on the cob. Someone must have been really high when they invented that.

Krystal is like White Castle but not nearly as good.

    Anyone try Bo-Jangle's ?
