I hate Peoplenet, where are you parked and recipes thread

Well only a minor setback. Seems TA axed the all you can eat menu section a few days ago. Replaced by daily "specials." The Thursday pepper steak on rice with gravy was tasty, along with the added salad. On the way out, I negated all that wholesome eating - ice cream sandwiches on sale today for 97¢. Regretfully only had room for one, and too much fresh stuff in the fridge cooler to dial it down to zero for a few ice creams for the road.

 

At Liberty fuel in Phoenix. Hate to have to drag my ### inside to get a permit then go back out to put it in the truck but beats fighting over parking spots at the flying j since at this hour there would be none!

Y'all ain't gonna believe this. I'm at the petro in mebane NC about 25 miles from delivery in the morning and this place has a Dunkin Doughnuts inside. Finally gonna figure out what all this fuss is about

deadheaded back from ft smith this morning. that's going to give me about 1/3 deadhead for the week. planned on one to the house hooked it and got this far before the clock said stop.

that gives me ATL in the morning again. this time from the other side. hopefully it'll be better than it was coming out here. there was no good way around Wednesday morning everything on all sides was jammed. been my week for bad timing that gives me all the rush hours. CLT twice. ATL now twice. MEM once. maybe I get lucky and sneak through CLT tomorrow right before the rush. looking that way right now.

stopped in Russellville at the J for my 30 this morning. wide open lot so I pulled off by myself and CRST follows me in. hit the off duty and he's circling the perimeter of the lot. round and round and round he goes. the whole 30 I was there. finally with 2 minutes left he pulls right in beside me and parks. about 150 spots in that place and a good 120 of them empty and he pulls in right beside me after doing laps for 28 minutes. must have been a reason for it but I have no clue lol

watching the comedy show here before I lay down. one spot left in the row across from me. Roehl and p&s straddling it both parked right on the line on their respective sides so there isn't enough space between them to get in the hole. many have tried, all have failed. a swift bobtail keeps circling and looking at it. he'll probably get in it.

should be home by 1600 tomorrow unless they can come up with an out and back I can turn in the 12hrs i'll have left

 

well, you know where I use to drive a few years ago......we wore out 54 !!
