428 miles left for tomorrow... Deliver at McLain in Concord NC at 6am, Friday ...reload in Winston Salem at 13:00 and head for Minnesota....

Hopefully the wife can drive down to Concord tomorrow and bring me out to dinner!!

 

Easy day...sitting at our yard in Jersey. Picking up in Edison in tomorrow for a Sat delivery in Olney, IL

 

sitting at the pilot in milford, ct watching the comedy hour. western and werner doing a dance around each other to see who hits something first lol

pretty unproductive week so far....or feels like it anyway. still managed 509 today but just doesn't feel like I got anything done. only about 250 off where I should be for this time of week if I were running my normal lanes. if I'd had more parking options could have gotten closer to my pickup before I stopped today but didn't feel like going south of here at 1730 with only 2hrs left.

live load in Piscataway in the morning then back to leesport. rinse and repeat. still have suracuse, Pittsburgh, albany and a couple other undesirable #### runs left in the bag i'll have to see where the wheel of misfortune stops in dispatch in the morning lol

 

Uneventful day today... got three exam results today and stopped at a notary office for some info...
Stopped at a small market to buy milk and ended up chatting with a very nice lady for almost one hr... And she gave me her phone number for future contact... Those kind of things never happen in the USA...

She sworn she is 72 yrs old... Although I still don't believe... she looks 58... Her face, her body, hands, neck, teeth... Totally unbelievable...

This evening spent about $50.00 dollars in the phone station chatting with my best Brazilian friend... He works with natural medicine and gave me some over the phone prescription for my musculoskeletal pain...

 

Oh yeah... I'm still here... in Cabo Frio, Rio de Janeiro...



Going back to two doctors tomorrow...

 

Did a drop and hook at our regular customer at Camden Wire in Camden, NY. Go scale out in Syracuse (at that pile of a Pilot) and I'm 35,400 on my drives, with the tandems at the 41' mark. That's the opposite of the way they usually load the trailers so I was shocked. Moved the tandems all the way forward and the 5th wheel a couple notches forward and I was good to go. Now I'm at the Love's in Conneaut, OH. My hours run out in Weatherford so I'll have to chill out there until Sunday then run the load in. No worries as its not due to be delivered until Monday.

 

Maybrook NY. Catch a nap, then ease on toward Bama. Friday morn delivery. Be cool on yer stool, we out!
