...got hit with a couple of those in school, those suckers hurt and leave a nice red mark when made right. (There's a good reason they are called hornets...)

Unless you taught concealment and the art of not getting caught, you've done zero favors

 

And not getting caught is an absolutely invaluable skill!

...as a parent though, it backfires. Personal experience.

I can only wait until I have little demons of my own... End up having to dress them up as normal people for Halloween.

My dad taught my brother and I one... Slap your knee really hard in the car, yell ow and tell the other to stop hitting you.

...we tried it on our mother. She parked the car, got out, smacked us both and said, "I taught your daddy that trick... It won't work on me!"

@Vilhiem, yeah, the stupid stuff we did, (sometimes caught, sometimes not) makes us better 'detectors'. We know what to look for and all the supposed clever places to find, hide, buy, do things.
