I hate Peoplenet, where are you parked and recipes thread

I was feeling like Captain Obvious in some other threads lately, so I borrowed his picture for a while. I still wanna be the Southern Comfort guy when I grow up, so he'll probably be back some day.

 

Went to two doctors today and showed them my test results...
I don't have diabetes, no anemia, no thyroid problems, no major problems... other than lack of vitamin D...
So, doctor gave me 12 boxes of Vitamin D...



These ones need prescription...

Other doctor told me to look for RPG (some kind of physical therapy)...

And for the stress... my friend who works with natural medicine gave me a prescription over the phone.

I see one big difference between Brazilian doctors and American ones... In Brasil, doctors do prescribe natural medicine... as well as "regular" medicine...

as expected got the turnaround back to Holland after I got back to leesport this morning. get back to Holland and get the trip home. Moonachie live load back to the home dc. ugh. I've seen enough of that sliver of NE NJ for one week. i'll be glad to get loaded and get the NE in the mirror tomorrow and get back where I belong. somebody else's turn for another 5-6 weeks then I get to do it again.......

you gotta love it when the first line of the load assignment says 'floor load expect 6hrs minimum to load plan accordingly' lol in Moonachie at 0900 right about the time the snow is supposed to start. should be loads of fun.

rest area on 91 Wallingford, ct. gotta figure out a good route into this place in the morning before I go to bed. the rand wants to give me a convoluted route with about 20 turns right through the middle of Moonachie lol that just isn't going to happen. I've learned not to trust that thing in places like that it's dumber than a bag of hammers if you give it anything other than nice straight interstate with a 2 turn final. the peoplenet actually looks like it might have a good route if you can imagine that lol but I gotta confirm it on the sat map. 99.9999999 times out of 100 that peoplenet map/routing makes the rand look like a phd in routing.

 

Probably not actually in Moonachie, there are a bunch of buisnesses below Teterboro. 95 to46 to 17 should get you right in.

I pulled a double today. Or more like my 7am cancelled and on the way back to the shop they gave me another job. Of course the 1st job was a B-truck inner city job. So I had to go back and get the big girl. Then the assigned trailer was in another location.

Boss, we're gonna be late, that's just a fact jack.

I have an am delivery in Pittsburgh, but I laid up short. And wouldn't you know it? I'm right in ground zero for the 5-8" of snow expected in the morning. Just about when my 10 is up.

I'm in Gateway T/A in Breezewood. Nice facility, but the restaurant serves small portions for the price.

 

that'll do it. actually was looking at just that route now. that'll take me down to Moonachie ave run the south side of the airport and bring me out about 2 streets south of where I gotta be. gotta go to home dynamix on carol place. all that technology and nothing in the world will ever beat a map and knowing how to read it lol

 

I just rolled in to the TA here. Gotta go grab a shower. Old man Murphy had his way with me today I could only get this far. And yep..... So much for spring. I'm hoping it isn't too bad when I roll out. Supposedly it will clear up as I head west and the temps aren't supposed to go below freezing.

And i I just usually chow down on some wings when I'm here. Or grab a chef's salad. Those are pretty big

Joked with dispatch that they need to stop giving me team loads. (2 hrs of spare time on the load Ohio to SoCal) They said they do that cause I will actually get them there on time.
