Thanks tazz, but i don't just change jobs every 6 months to a year for the hell of it. I am forced to because i have had companies stealing money out of m,y check or forcing me to drived there unsafe vehicles.

Snow bunny, do you know any fair companies in the ga area that i can lease on to if i can buy a truck?
-
With an older truck it would be harder. Are you looking for local or OTR? My husband has an older truck, he is leased to National Carriers, in KS, I know that they run out of Moutrie to FL/Atlanta, but like any company you need to watch settlements closely. (cause you just never know) they have fixed any errors fairly quickly when we call right away. We have a good payroll lady.
I am in Canada, so I don't really know of other companies, but I will ask him if you like... -
Poor credit Poor work history unsafe vehicles companies stealing money
Who the heck you been working for ?
Insurance company gonna consider you a high risk
Bank gonna consider you a high risk
And company you want to lease on to is gonna consider you a high risk
You sure you dont want to just bank that money and learn to say "Good afternoon welcome to Walmart" -
I've been out of the trucking business since the first time fuel went way up, but even at that time I was still making good money and doing it with a new truck and a big payment. I got out of it because I had some other business ventures going on at that time.
It all comes down to leasing on with the right company and watching everything.. I stay in contact with alot of my old pals in the business and the guys who want to work are still making money. I know people who are pulling containers within a 200 mile radius of their house and grossing $3000 or more a week. Sure fuel is high and everything else is too, but if you're not driving a $130,000 billybigrigger special you CAN make money.
Quit the "poormouthing", Look in the driveways and garages and houses of O/O that have been in the game for a while and tell me if they aren't making a good living.STEPCHILD1, Bogey, trucker43 and 1 other person Thank this. -
