I have 2 barn cats that are great. built them a nice house to live in to keep them warm and dry out of the elements. they hang out by the garage and when we go out there they come by for a few pets.
    low maint pets for sure.

Our dogs on the other hand are in constant need of attention and care.

    Meh.....
I would say pits attack for no reason as much as any other breed..

I remember Ozzy's wifes yorkie going crazy insane out of the blue like once an hour

Out here in the Arizona desert, cats are popular as they are immune to scorpion venom and love to catch them

Im not a cat guy, but i do think thats really cool

I personally think cats are the information and monitoring drones for the aliens in outer space..(long story)...lol

Nope, Nope Nope. Cat simply have a very long memory. 5,000 years ago they were worshiped as Gods. They have not forgotten yet! :)

Thugs don't have gainful employment. To me you'd (OP) just be a guy with a dog that I hope won't bite me. But then again, it's not like I have a reason to get near the dog.

Then maybe I should add... with serious or fatal injuries.

Pitts have a reputation, not for a couple people not liking the breed but, because history has shown that they are one of the more dangerous breeds.

They may be snugglie and cute for the most part, but when they attack they have a killer instinct about them that simply doesn't let go until the job is finished.

I'm not saying it is a bad thing or that they are a bad breed, but it can be a very dangerous thing.

    A Yorkie going crazy. Really?
    No comparison.

"I'm not saying it is a bad thing or that they are a bad breed, but it can be a very dangerous thing."
I quoted myself to make one additional point.

I understand the 'breed', as I am one.
I was not bred, as far as I know. (I could be wrong about that, who knows?)
But you never would want to set me off too far, because... I'll end it.

And you never know what might cause it.
It might be as simple of a thing as raising an empty milk bottle above your head (as in the case of Reverend) or condescending to the wrong person for the wrong reason, or buying a bag of tobacco for the wrong reason at the exact wrong time.

    People, and dogs, are unpredictable.
But some of both can do more harm than others of the species by their very nature.
