What do you know anything about 1972? You were not even born. But, you watch t.v. all day right? Teenagers always say " I know Dad, I know". Sound familiar. You have a long way to go, son. Growing up, takes time. Do you have a job, that pays anything? Do you have a retirement with a company? Do you live with MOM and DAD, or Do you own a HOME?
-
My whole family from my great grandfather were in the military, so its kinda a family thing. Plus I want to kill terrorists with a C7.
-
Of course I wans't alive in 1972, but since you've been a trucker for 37 years I figured you must be a Vietnam veteran....that on top of your GI Joe / Soldier of Fortune posts.
Not into T.V., that ###### kills brain cells. Let me guess, you watch the history channel?
Yes I have a job and no I don't live with my parents....
But I rent an apartment; houses are extremely expensive in this area. Too expensive for a trucker anyway. -
Listen up sonny, I encouraged a 16 year old kid, who is thinking of joining the Military, which I support, as a great life, to start. But you on the other hand, start with negative coments to this. I only hope the guy does good. now for you. you live in an apartment, because a home is work. You cant just come home and sit on the couch and play videos, Work to be done, owning a home. Try finding a job that pays, Muney. Im not going to argue with you. Kids never listen anyways, always have the right answer. Have a great night.rocknroll nik Thanks this.

Justin, I hope you follow in you families steps. You`ll do great. Good luck

I totally agree with you - I wish the 16 year old the best in life as well. I was just trying to convey both sides to joining the armed forces - it's pros and cons just like anything else.
Owning a home is ALOT of work. WORK isn't the reason I don't own a home - ##### - hole houses in my area are 250K + and thats the honest to Gods truth.
Regarding finding a job that pays "money" - sadly, with the cost of living so high I might have hard time buying a home in this area being a trucker.
I'm not arguing with you either, I have nothing but respect; I voice my opinions due to this is a forum, and opinions are what makes it interesting. Also, too many people are so opinionated that they cannot or will not see other possibilities (not saying that is you).
Have a good weekend and thank you for your service. -
Did I miss the question?????

I used to be a driving Instructor and I think I did a very good job getting my guys out into the real world safely. I can't possibly teach them everything they need to know but I did my best. When I had students that were not cut out to be drivers I would let the examiner know about this and she would make sure they fail. I did not want an unsafe driver out there, and still don't. I don't know how may I sent out with my blessing but I hope they all made out ok. I passed on my knowledge and hoped to make for safer roads. I did my best.
Wargames Thanks this. -
YEAH, and that sure has worked out well.
We control "squat".
