I just bought a single axle road tractor.my original plans with this truck was to use it to pull my car trailer and to get hay for the wife's horses.
then i got a thought about doing some commercial hauling with it.

My question to you would be,what do i need to do besides get a class a lic?
    thanks ahead of time....

LOL.. well, I have BOTH :biggrin_255:

Ok, not really but close enough to make do. However I'm now 0 for 3 on trucks that will receive a mechanic's nod. The dealership is gonna drive me broke $55 at a time.

I probably will cry real tears before this is all said and done.

I may still I guess. The problem right now is, the finance company was going back and forth on approving me. First yes because credit ok, then no because no experience, then yes if I get a driver, then no because the driver I submitted had terrible credit and they don't allow people to cosign for trucks and they didn't believe I was really going to drive it, just ghost signing. Tried another driver and same thing.

SO, now we know all that is left is Lot financing, in house. So it turns out they have a cash flow problem and really can't afford to do all the repairs unless they were getting the entire amount. Since they're only getting the 5 down from me, they don't want to do it. They'll still give me a healthy discount, but I really don't have another 6k on top of that to go pay for the repairs myself (plus the other 5k for insurance and authority, plus another 5k for operating overhead), and it will be risky if I put it off, so I'm not sure how comfortable I am doing that when I already have quite enough against me in the endeavor!
