i have also been on this not so swift train

this for some the new guys that are thinking of going with swift frist of don't do it. yah the promise u the world like most recruirts do, it's there way of meeting there quote for the month. sure the miles are great when ur with a trainer that has no bizzness training u because he himslef can't back up the trailor more then 5 ft let alone ally dock it. i could count how many times my trainer woke me up to help him move the axles on the tow unit cause he didn't eat his wheaties that mornin. there's just some of the stuff during the training process. now here comes some of the solo stuff. i lasted about 3 weeks on my own with these yahoo's, maybe it was the fact that was getting loads that avg 400 to 600 miles and had 4 days to do them in. now i now they don't want to rush and hurt somebody but come on i could have stayed hm and work at mcd's for more money then that. then there was the fact that i rearly got a preplan which i was fine with except for the fact that i never enough fuel to make the trip, and always had to get authorization for that. then there was the mutiple stops which i didn't mind if they would pay me for them. and the last straw with these guys was when i broke down in utah lost the turbo. frist u have to sit around like 2hrs before onroad even thinks about ansewering ur qualcom mesg then it takes another 2 hrs for them to dispacth a service truck or tow truck. then it took them 7 more hrs to find out if they where going to have the shop they towed me to fix the problem or if i was going back to the terminal. so after about 14 hrs of this stuff i got back to the terminal cleaned my truck out so it could go dertiot, i was suppose to get a room at hotle but yah they said there where none avaible i so spent five nights in aother truck that i couldn't drive and didn't get piad for any of it.
FUN TIMES i tell u what. so lets just say yah i got it up the ##* in this one. since i now have truck abandoment and load adbandommeent on my dac when i left it in there yard where i got the truck and droped the keys on d/m"s desk and told him to f off and walked out. there's just some of my story with swift so take the time and reserch all the companies before u make ur decesion it'll pay off in the long run.
