Don’t blame you, his price is probably the reason he still has them. Would be very good if they did repeal the FET, hope they do it to take affect next year as I plan on taking delivery of a new truck early spring.

Its more than a rumor, there are two separate bills on the floor, I don't agree with their logic, they feel that the reason people are/were buying gliders rather than new trucks was because of FET, I feel its because of the emission controls, but hey, if that makes them happen then by all means repeal it!!!

Really I know several places within a hundred miles of me that would have at least one a.c. compressor for a 379, none of them are truck dealers either.

Of you yes. I could have one in minutes if home or South Missouri. What about 1000 miles from home?

Needing to be some where at a reasonable time tomorrow?

Been at this 20 years. I have replaced diffs, clutches, and a few other things in a truck stop parking lot. I'm a realist however old trucks for a fleet are not a good idea

I can't believe there was only one pete air leaf bag in Memphis, like you said it's one of the most popular suspensions out there.

Truck pro had one for a low air leaf. But if you only have a million dollar parts inventory budget and mostly new trucks in Memphis what do you really stock?

I use little rock, ft smith, joplin and Springfield. Still lots of old iron around here so it's feasable to keep stuff for older stuff.

How many drivers will ride the week out in summer with no A/C to get home?

Or not ##### about sitting in a room waiting on parts and a half ### tech to boot.

Make no mistake they will pry my 91 model 379 outta my cold dead fingers, but it's mine. No drivers allowed

@wore out You and the judge need to go on a cruise. Get that speedo out and enjoy yourself. You have had more than your share of bad luck lately. 'Course you needn't share your bad luck. I hardly know you. Send it to someone else. It'll get better some day. If it makes you feel any better I haven't had a/c for 2 weeks. I needed to replace a hose so I went ahead and replaced some 25 year old components. Big mistake this time it seems. Now I got plenty of moving cold air and the blower motor decides to act up. BUT I A'INT GONNA BUY A NEWISH TRUCK.

Yea I guess they'd rather stock more parts for the big fleet trucks where nobody will ##### about how much your markup is or the 120 bucks an hour labor charge.
