Yes, they are still for sale, I decided that if I was going to spend 100g's , per truck, I might as well just order what I want and spend 125G's? They aren't bad trucks for that price, not sure I like the idea of them setting around for 3+ years? I can see new batteries and possibly DEF issues right off the bat?

I’d have the same concerns myself, what did you finally decide to go with?

I'd like a new truck too, but it's definitely a sellers market right now, and wtf inflated.

Two years ago Freightliner had new Cascadia's with 500HP Cummins for $117K, cash and carry lol.

    Now they are $157K.:(

I have an order put together for T680 with MX11 and 12 speed Endurance tranny's 52" sleeper single axle, I am approved for finance for up to 6 units though Paccar, problem is, I am just having a hard time pulling that trigger to go into debt. When my current trucks are running well I want to push it off, as soon as I have a truck go down I am like, ORDER TRUCKS DUMMY!!! LOL

I know Dave, best price I could get on the above 680's was 134,000 (includes FET) that is for a nicely equipped BUT small sleeper, small motor, single axle truck that I will be married to for a decade, I already know that resale will be terrible on them. BUT, I also can't see spending another 30g's a truck just to buy something that I can sell later that doesn't fit our profile???

I'll never forget this one instructor at cdl school.

"If it's not broke, don't fix it."

That phrase applies to so many things in life lol.

Good luck whatever you decide. Have you considered doing half through fleet?

I have, I think what is REALLY holding me back is the FET deal, I DO realize that nobody likes to pay taxes, but the FET alone on new trucks and trailers is over 130,000!!! I guess I am holding out hope that they will repeal this BS tax in the near future?
