Sounds like one of those schools that give schools a bad name.

    Ouch - 3/4 of an inch.. that's a burn and a half.

I lost .. I think it was 4.. points on my parallel parking - had to do a pull up, and ended up outside the box. Only one corner, though - which is outstanding for me :)

I wonder if you can call them on the drive time. Sounds like they're trying to call time sitting on the bunk 'drive time'. I'd put up a huge fuss over that. If they don't back down, talk to the state, and/or a lawyer. Check the fine print in your contract, first, though.

    Passed the straight line 100%
Passed the 45 degree alley dock 100%
She LOVED my driving...till I bumped the curb pulling back into the test site after my road test!
Automatic dq. 7 day wait and another $100, oh well.
Tester told me Im a natural, better than 99% of the people she tests, and I just had a "feel" for driving. She said she was sorry she had to ding me and she hoped she would get to test me next week.
She also asked me what the "last sign was" after entering the freeway, I told here "low flying aircraft" and she said NOBODY ever knows the answer to that question. She said I will have NO problem passing next week.
All but one in my class was dq'd for hitting that #### curb. Dam dam dam.
Rather than think I failed 3 tests so far, I like to think I have already passed 2 and only have one more!
    Right?
I have "banked" is what they called it my 144 point inspection (allowed to miss 12, I missed 5)
And my straight line backing, and 45% allay dock, allowed to miss 8, I missed 0.
So the only test I have left is my road test AGAIN, and I will kick that curb to the curb next time, Sammy out.

Passed the road test today. Allowed to miss 24 points and I missed 4.
    CDL a with tank.
    Glad its over.

Im going to be complaining to any agency that will listen to me about this school (National Transportation truck driver training) out of Spokane WA!

Basically they are a SWIFT company which I DID NOT know when I handed them a cashiers check for almost $4000.

Will keep ya updated on what happens from here.
Thanks for the help and information along the way!

I'm glad you got your CDL so now you can go out and run heavy equipment. Just don't stop at one type of equipment because that's all you'll be called up to operate. Show an interest in all the equipment. Once you get qualified on all the gear then you can work all kinds of jobs. I was a dozer man but I could run everything except a crane. The bosses will love you when you can jump down from one and go to another. They hate waiting for an operator.

Your school experience was unfortunate. It's hard to find a good school that really wants to teach truck driving. What I've seen and heard is your school is typical and only wants to get your money and have you pass your CDL. They could care less on what happens after you leave them. My idea about making a new endorsement for driver trainer and developing a federal driver safety program makes more sense after hearing another horror story like yours. Try to report them to anyone that will listen. Good luck and now you can go out and have fun.

Thanks for the info Hauler. I hope to learn to run everything but cranes also (too much math with cranes lol)

I am sending a registerd letter today to the owner of NT asking for a Refund in the amount of $2500.
Because I only got about 6 hours road time instead of the 40 hours promised.

Told them if I dont get a response within 30 days I am fully prepared to take legal action, and then it wont be so cheap.

Also filed a complaint with the office of the Attorney General Consumer Protection Divison.

And one to the BBB just for good measure.
