I agree, the longer you stay the lower your miles get. Cheaper help coming in. I didn't get 2 bonuses I was promised. I would stay out 2 to 3 weeks to make decent money. The one weekend I needed to be home my FM screwed that up. I could go on but would never go back.
Agree those things are , but you HAVE TO MAKE A DECENT LIVING DRIVING A TRUCK OR TJE JOB ISN'T WORTH IT in my opinion
Well I am taken care of. At this stage in life. I choose to work but not really out of necessity right now.
I worked for a company before and everyday there was probably 100 messages coming through. It was crap like so and so paid off there truck or today is Friday or its summer time the temp is 90 like no duh sherlock. Or be careful it's cold outside the roads might freeze. But if you think about it it's bad to think that the only reason companies send that crap is because so many drivers probably don't know when it's cold that there's ice on road.
OTR mileage is greatly dependent on which terminal or Service Center you work from.. Nashville drivers complain not enough miles, while Atlanta drivers get lots of miles. The company is a good company, well above average, but it's not for every driver. They work well for what I call Boy Scouts, not Cowboys. Benefits are good, pay depends on your account or division.
