i have to admit this is tempting

GOOD LUCK with that. i called this company directly, we dont take applications you have to go through the temp service. i have tried to skip these bottom feeders every time i apply for a job. unfortunately every time i run into the same situation. its so much easier for them to bring someone in, not pay workers comp, not deal with a comp case if their is an injury, not deal with unemployment, and if business goes badly eliminating that employee is an easy prospect. although these days no one has job security anymore. here one day, gone the next temporary or permanent it does not matter.

i agree, bottom feeders and middleman that's all a temp service is. frankly i could do without their "services" if i could.

 

i dont know how it is in your area but around here, pretty much that's all your going to get. remedy staffing, kelly services, superior, spehrion, xpress, addeco, durham staffing, snelling. there are so many i have not mentioned its almost impossible to get by without them. i need a job now, but if something came up that was not through the temp service, temp means temp. no notice will be given.

 

the local school bus garage around here is part time, which is why i didnt bother to get a passenger rating and go work there. they actually told me if i got my "p" i could get a job but PART TIME. i know a woman that works for them, she also works at the gas station part time. she's always broke and has to consistently work 2 part time jobs.
