You're right about at least part of that. So am I. The problem is the lack of information in the OP. He didn't specify what the first job is. Might be driving, might be a factory job. It's not stated .

What is your first job ? Driving ? Factory ? Sales ? It makes a huge difference.

Not if neither job is a CDL job. If either one is, then yes, it matters. If neither is , then it doesn't.

Must be logged as part of 60/70 if being compensated

The title of the post is "I have 2 driving jobs, can I get in trouble?" So we know he drives Monday to Friday also, does not say if it is a cmv, I assume it is or why would he ask. But don't know for sure

If neither job requires a CDL, then no logging is needed. If either one of the jobs requires a CDL, then, Yes, the Hours of Service regulations apply to all hours worked on both jobs.MrEd, JReding, lagbrosdetmi and 2 others Thank this.

It is a given that his main job requires a CDL. We don't need to argue this, do we? Otherwise, he wouldn't have asked about HOS compliance when combined with the second, non-CDL job. It was implied information.
