Nope, it just compacted it into a big enclosed dumpster, then the dumpster got hauled away when full.

Reviving this thread because I actually saw one of these stupid contraptions at our warehouse today. I don’t even know who called the guy, he just showed up out of nowhere and put on a whole big spectacle with a loud beeping alarm and flashing lights, and he accomplished absolutely nothing. The dumpster looked exactly the same when he left. Just a total waste of time and fuel, and our dumpster is still full. What a crock! Just get us a new friggen dumpster!

 

Im sure there will be instances where the trash is naturally packed as it’s dumped or is heavier metal type scrap that won’t compact with this gizmo
But I think in a lot of lightweight type cases that it would actually do what’s it’s supposed to

This didn’t become a thing without some sorta of results

 

I have seen this contraption twice now and am glad to be educated as to what it is and does. We just use the backhoe at work.
