Why would you want to run an external Amp with a radio that gives you 200 watts ssb

Can anyone recommend a tech in Houston for a 2950? Or one I can trust to ship the radio to?

Or, just go get your ham license (1st technician 2nd general class) for a fee of US$16 and find you a good used ICOM 706 MK II G and come holla back at me!

My old 2950 was what got me into the ham hobby! IF, your 10meter is still open, have you tried listening in to the ten-ten club? see: ten-ten.org

I find it bewildering that you truck drivers are so quick to spent insensible amounts of cash for a mere 1 band radio. Aimhigh and go for a real radio and learn much more than what you ever will on a mere cb. again aimhigh

    Hardlyevr Thanks this.
