you wouldn't use american wrenches on your metric car. you'll round out the bolts.

I don't have car navigation. I'm trying out a Rand McNally 720 truck GPS. It's pretty good, but not perfect.

I just got the Copilot Truck last Friday. I set it up for hazmat, and going from Tulsa to Pueblo, one of the routing options was highway 160 in Colorado. A big no no with placards. It also wanted to route me straight through Dallas when going from Waxahachie to Tulsa.

Like DsquareD said, it's just one of many tools. Paying attention to signs being first and foremost.

I just returned the RM 720 and am thinking about the Co-Pilot. Any more updates from any users on this?

I've been using it in my phone for the past few days since in waiting for the new iPad mini. It's pretty good, the one thing that is a little misleading is the lack of speed alerts. I'm mostly in the Houston area and have yet to get it to work. It's supposed to work on "most major interstates", I guess I-45 and I-10 don't qualify. :-/
Overall it's pretty good though.

Thanks. I'm kind of leaning toward the Garmin DEZL 560. I should have ordered one last week and it would be here by now. The advantage to the iPhone app is the quick and easy download.
