I'll try and add something to this.....Giggles help me out if I don't.......To the OP....You prolly did do what was best....in reading your 1st post it was pretty obvious that you care about your wife and kids...that's good. By not going ahead with the truck driving thing then you won't waste time/money in learning something that you won't stick with. Not my place to judge you in any way , but IMO trucking at the very least OTR may not be in your future...now if you want to drive for a living your pal at the beverage company may be a much bigger help than you could imagine...once you DO learn to drive and get a Class A CDL and some experience driving for a year or 2 with the beverage folks...you then may be in a spot to try and drive for a food service company...after a couple years hauling drinks you'll be in decent shape cause the food service gig is very labor intensive. I did it for over 30 years and retired in 2011...decent job too, you can with the right company make up-wards of 65k to 70k a year...hard physical work though...don't beat yourself up.... just set a goal and work towards it...remember though think about food service after a couple years experience....

He didn't ask to know "how it is" It doesn't hurt to give someone some good advice...and with your years of time in..you would be one he could really learn from.....you know how it was you 1st started....if that 50 years is true and I'm not doubting it at all , no sir not one bit...then why not add something constructive to the discussion...

What do you call this... don't waste taxpayers money? Cant look his wife Iin the eyes cause he let them down? He didn't let them down...People who dont try I hnderstand but he tried... Stick with watching smokey and the bandit? What was the the reason to say that? Your parents never taught you if you got nothing good to say, say nothing at all? What do you do for fun run around kicking cats?
