You won't have much say on a truck. They will just assign you one when you get done training. What to expect.... hmmmm... well orientation is like high school, pretty boring. They are just gonna tell you all about their policies and procedures and what they expect from you. Training is going to be a total surprise. lol. It's all gonna depend on your trainer. It could be good it could be bad but more than likely it'll at least be interesting.

I wouldn't drive for them. But I can say that because I have better options. You have to pay your dues. Most of us start at one of the major carriers. I started at US Xpress. The major carriers are easy to get started with, they are all very similar. I recommend you drive for Werner for about a year, keep your record clean and more doors will open for you with a year experience, even more will open when you have 2yrs. But who knows you may end up loving Werner, some do.
I'm too anti-authorityto drive for the major carriers for long. I wanna do things my own way even if it's harder. You'll find your niche in time and can look for a company that offer the things you want, or do like some of us and make your own company.

Werner? Why them you won't get no miles with them they are so dumb the way they do things not saying anything about their drivers because i couldn't care about them i'm talking about the way they run thing's you would of been better off with somebody like us express or something.
