    Hello Truckers:
I hope someone could help me with some advices.

I'm the owner or a 2004 Volvo VNL64T 440, unfortunately I can't drive for a medical situation, however the truck has been working for a dispatcher for the last couple of months in the Texas area doing usualy Texas to Cali round trips, they hired the truck driver themselves. Unfortunately neither the dispatcher and driver were honest people, they were charging too much money and ask money constantly for inexistent mechanical repair bills, of course my profit was ridiculous low, so I took the truck off the company yesterday.

I hope someone could point me into de right direction to start working the truck back again.

    For now I need:
    1. Hire a good truck driver
    2. Find a good dispatcher company

Any inputs and advices will be greatly appeciated

    Thanks in advance!

try Swift to see if they will lease Your truck to one of their drivers or find a driver and lease them both to swift. There is other companies in that area too You can look in to. I'm New to trucking so I wont say I will drive for You, Even tho I would if You asked Me to. PM Me if You want to talk business.

I would venture to say a 6 year old truck will be hard to pay a driver and truck expenses and turn a profit. More or less a O/O would be more profitable. You might fall into something, but there are a lot of risks putting a driver in it. Good luck.

First off, any truck leased onto Swift needs a driver that would be qualified (by Swift)...

Second...brand new driver ("wanna be") by your info block. There is more, much more to this industry than having a CDL in your pocket. As the OP has already learned (the hard way) both the owner and the driver need at least the basic savvy about this industry not to get ripped off! and a non experienced driver wouldn't have a clue as to a decent rate, what permits would be needed, and the best routes to take.

Sorry, get some experience before offering advice!
