My recruiter told me a lot of stuff that just was/is not true. No surprise there though. I really wanted something local or at least home often. Pay isn't the biggest issue.
I live in the Houston area and was wondering if anyone knows of a good company that will hire a new cdl driver? I don't want OTR. But dedicated would probably be fine. I just don't want to be away from home forever. Any advice is appreciated.
I just got my CDL through CR England, I'm not keen on the company

Just curious, are you under some sort of contract with England?

Here's a decent local outfit. You could have gotten your cdl through this company also.
Click here > Labatt Food Service
Go in person to apply will be best.
If they ask about cdl school debt to CR England, tell them you're going to get the money from a credit union or whatever to pay it off. Ask which credit union Labatt employees use.
